I hope you all are doing well! I’ve been waiting to write this piece until I felt my predictions and loves were spot on for this year's Winter to Spring transition! I think I have finally put together a fun list, so here we go!
PRIMARY COLORS
First things first, primary colors are going to be huge. Cherry red has had its moment this winter and will continue to be a wonderful color to sport during this seasonal transition. Along with cobalt blue, and a classic yellow, these three colors will be paired with neutrals for a pop of color and fun! Check out some of these outfits below to see what I’m getting at!
LEOPARD PRINT
Next up we have leopard print! Coats, pants, tops, bags, all of it will be in leopard! Once again, especially if you’re a girl that favors neutrals, leopard is the perfect way to spice up an outfit without getting too colorful! I swear it has been freezing cold across the whole country recently, so faux leopard fur is the perfect way to stay warm and stylish until temps rise!
ADIDAS SNEAKERS
I think that by now most people have seen how popular Adidas shoes have become over the past few months. With multiple of their styles trending including the Samba, the Gazelle, and the Campus 00s, you will be sure to see these shoes on the street this winter and spring! You can style them up or style them down; they are some of the most versatile shoes on the market right now!
LEATHER BOMBER JACKETS
Another great way to stay warm during these low temps are leather bomber jackets! A great layering piece, these jackets are super functional and stylish at the same time, which can be so hard to find in a piece! Whether you go with a weathered brown, a chic red, or a classic black, you cannot go wrong!
METALLICS
Another big trend that you will see is the styling of metallics! Both gold and silver will be incorporated into tops, denim, jackets, and shoes! Again, a great option for the neutral gals out there to spice up their wardrobes!
VINTAGE FURS
Ok ok, the last warm article I’ll share for today is vintage fur coats. Arguably the chicest and most timeless look in the book! Stay animal-friendly and go for a faux fur option. If searching for the perfect high end look, check The Real Real for some great deals on stunning pieces!
MEGA JEWELRY STACKS
And last but definitely not least, are mega jewelry stacks. Loading up your wrists, hands, and neck with jewels and hardware is the trend of the spring! I have recently been super drawn to pieces with a finished gold look, but don’t be afraid to mix your metals! Adding in some chunky rings has a much greater effect on your look than you could ever imagine, and nothing finishes off a look quite like a great necklace stack!
Overall this year, I have a feeling we are going to see a great transition from the trending minimalistic style, to total maximalism, and I am completely on board! I cannot wait to see what 2024 brings! Stay healthy and happy!
